About Us

Highlands Theatre Group Inc. was incorporated on 16th June 1994, its object being:-

To promote knowledge of and interest in dramatic and musical theatre in the Highlands area.

It is managed as an amateur theatre group by a COMMITTEE of members, none of whom receive any remuneration.

Our constitution is a copy of the Model Rules  for Incorporated Associations under the Associations Incorporation Act of 1984. We may in the future adopt the Model Constitution under the Act of 2010, or customise our constitution. However, this would require a Special General Meeting.

Performers, our orchestra, and off-stage staff are members, associate members and volunteers, none of whom are paid.

We are very proud of the professionalism and dedication of all these people, who make up the Highlands’ Leading Amateur Theatre Group.
