Pride and Prejudice completed its season on 27th April 2013, to universal acclaim. Many of the sessions were sold out. Director Jim Cheesley drew praise from many people for his script and staging, while the cast put on excellent performances, and the production team kept up the fine repution of the Highlands Theatre Group.

The next show will be Woody Allen’s comedy, Don’t Drink the Water. Details of auditions, etc. are available at this website.

Pride and Prejudice First Weekend Sell-out

The first weekend of Pride and Prejudice is practically a sell-out. Only a few tickets are available. Tickets are still available for the weekends of 19th and 26th of April, 2013.

Successful Crucible Season ends

The final performance of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible was completed on Saturday, 24th November.

The group now turns its attentions to Pride and Prejudice, celebrating the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s novel. Details of information night and auditions will be published here as soon as they are available.

Fawlty Towers Sold Out

Fawlty Towers was sold out for the last three performances on 6th and 7th July 2012. Demand for tickets escalated as the word got round. Congrats to the cast and production team.

Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” a Stunning Success

Our big musical for 2012, Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” closed on 31st March after a very successful run. As the word got around, there was a rush for tickets, and the final night was sold out. There was universal praise for the cast, the orchestra, the direction and choreography.
